Reappoint Sean Green to the Development Review Advisory Committee for a term to expire March 5, 2025

As Mayor and Commissioner of Finance & Administration, I request Council confirmation of the following reappointment to the Development Review Advisory Committee (DRAC) for a second 3-year term: Reappointment DRAC Position Term Sean Green Citywide Neighborhood Interests 03/06/2022-03/05/2025 As the City’s advisory body on development review, the DRAC seeks to foster an efficient, predictable and accountable development review process. Portland City Code Title 3.30.030 specifies that DRAC members may serve up to two 3-year terms. DRAC member Sean Green has completed his first term, is eligible for reappointment, and has expressed interest in continuing to serve on the DRAC. Sean would remain in the Citywide Neighborhood Interests position he has held since 2019; his second term would run through March 5, 2025. Reappointing Sean will help to ensure the continuation of the good work of the DRAC on behalf of the Bureau of Development Services (BDS) and other City bureaus, the development industry, and the community. Sean Green serves the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods as an Executive Board Member (Vice Chair) and as Co-Chair of the Land Use and Transportation Committee. Sean also serves as Chair of the DRAC Process Improvement & Technology Subcommittee and is the owner of a design/build company specializing in home and accessory dwelling unit construction. Sean has brought a wealth of both neighborhood and development expertise and experience to the DRAC. Statement from Sean Green I love working with staff and other volunteers to better our city.
