June 5, 2024 To: Portland City Council From: Helmi Hisserich, Director PHB Date: May 21, 2024 RE: Accept the annual report for calendar year 2023 of the North and Northeast Neighborhood Housing Strategy Oversight Committee We are pleased to submit this eighth annual report on behalf of the North/Northeast Neighborhood Housing Strategy Oversight Committee. The Committee’s advice and monitoring of our policies, programs and outcomes is of central importance to the commitment to this strategy. This report highlights both our successes and challenges in implementing the strategy. This year we celebrate nine years of the strategy, with with successes in Albina One breaking ground, three additional projects moving along the development pipeline towards completion and the Dr. Darrell Milner building nearing completion and occupancy.
