Appoint and reappoint members to the Urban Forestry Commission for terms to expire April 21, 2026

Date: April 13, 2022 To: City Council From: Jenn Cairo, City Forester Subject: Appoint Ivory Iheanacho, Roberta Jortner, and Melinda McMillan and reappoint Megan Van de Mark to the Urban Forestry Commission I am pleased to submit Ivory Iheanacho, Roberta Jortner, and Melinda McMillan for appointment to the Urban Forestry Commission (UFC), and Megan Van de Mark for reappointment to a second term. The UFC serves in an important advisory role to the City and is a valuable partner in preserving and expanding Portland's urban forest. These appointments are made as a result of a selection process that sought to value and reflect the diversity of the Portland community.
