The City of Portland ordains: Section 1. The Council finds: In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is creating a new non-represented classification and establishing a compensation rate, effective September 29, 2021. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs: The following classification is being created: Job Class Pay Grade Effective Date Crisis Medic 54 September 29, 2021 Section 2. The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Council.
